Normally, his biller, I quickly stepped into a new role as a medical assistant when staffing shortages and fear shook the medical field. We worked long hours and were committed to keeping our practice open and our patients cared for.

But in the stillness of the evening, my peace came in the form of cooking dinners with my husband and crafting cocktails—a passion I carried from my days as a bartender. These moments grounded us. One night, I filmed myself cooking noodles with leftover lobster tail in a clear glass pot I’d found on Amazon. That simple, cozy video went viral.

What happened next changed everything.

As an Amazon influencer, I earned $1,200 in commissions, and the brand I purchased from made over $100,000. That moment lit a fire in me. I realized there was a gap in the market for affordable, stylish, and functional home goods—and I had the eye, experience, and love of décor to fill it.

I launched Shop Jillion Trinkets to make luxury-inspired home items accessible to everyday people. From statement glassware to must-have kitchen finds, every item we carry is selected to elevate your space without emptying your wallet.

The name Jillion Trinkets reflects my philosophy: you can never have too many beautiful things that spark joy. As a Black woman in a space still lacking representation, I’m proud to honor icons like the late B. Smith, who showed us that women can cook, design, and lead in the world of home and lifestyle.
